Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Prepare and submit reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity . Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Establish work schedules. Train or arrange for training. Oversee safety of operations. Recommend personnel actions. Set up machines and equipment. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervision: Electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors and testers. Computer and technology knowledge: Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Ear plugs. Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves.
