Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Millwork shop. Prefab/shop fabrication. Tasks: Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components. Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints. Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics. Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products. Apply lacquer or other sealers. Apply toners, highlights, glazes or shaders to obtain desired finish. Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Experience: Will train.- Location159 Rutherford Rd.
