*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving business growth of our two stores - one located in downtown Fredericton and the other in Lincoln, NB. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. *Responsibilities* - Assist the General Manager in managing daily operations and ensuring the highest level of customer service. - Supervise staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment. - Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity. - Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. - Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly. - Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving sales and profitability. - Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Prepare reports on operational performance for review by upper management. *Qualifications* - Proven experience in a managerial role within a retail food environment is preferred. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with point-of-sale systems is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. - A degree in Business Administration or related field is desirable but not mandatory.
