Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Law (LLB, JD, BCL). Tasks: Advise clients of their legal rights and all matters related to law. Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law. Perform management functions related to the practice of law. Draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion. Represent interests of corporation/employer in all business related to legal matters. Research legal precedents and gather evidence. Provide public education seminars/sessions. Assist lawyers in preparation for mediation and judicial dispute resolutions. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Membership in a provincial or territorial law society. Functional expertise: Regulation or legislation policy interpretation and implementation. Area of work experience: Law. Experience: 5 years or more. Workplace information: Hybrid.
