Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Repair. Tasks: Trim, dress and finish boots or shoes. Repair soles, heels and other parts of footwear. Repair belts, purses, luggage and similar products. Type of repair: Footwear. Purses. Belts. Equipment and machinery experience: Leather stitching machine. Hand tools. Area of specialization: Custom shoes. Custom boots. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Organized. Screening questions: Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
