Business Development Manager
*Location:* Canada
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing medical device sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in medical device sales or a similar highly regulated industry.Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and increase market share
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare industry
* Conduct in-person meetings, phone calls, and email correspondence with potential and existing clients
* Create and nurture a pipeline of recurring customers
* Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities and customer interactions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product development
* Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
* Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
* Mentor and develop junior sales team members as the role expands
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in medical device sales or a similar highly regulated industry
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
* Strong relationship-building skills and ability to network effectively
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot
* Familiarity with internet-based calling systems like RingCentral
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within Canada
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience managing a sales team
* Knowledge of multiple product lines within the medical device industry
* MBA or other relevant advanced degree

* Adaptable to changing market conditions and customer needs
* Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
