Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Pet shop. Tasks: Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment. Operate cash register. Provide customer service. Assist in display of merchandise. Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease. Maintain sales records for inventory control. Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
