*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism in delivering freight to various locations. *Duties* - Operate heavy trucks and equipment to transport freight between locations. - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. - Load and unload cargo. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven. - Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. - Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed. *Requirements* - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. - Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight handling procedures. - Familiarity with heavy equipment operation. - Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on trucks. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
