At *J.M. Robins Construction Ltd.* you are a valuable part of a fantastic team that works together everyday towards a common goal. *Key Responsibilities:* * On-site management support * Assist in various construction tasks as directed by the supervisor. * Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently. * Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and tools to and from the worksite. * Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and waste materials. * Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure proper use of safety gear and equipment. * Identify and report potential hazards or safety issues on the job site to supervisors immediately. * Consistently delivering high-quality workmanship that meets or exceeds industry standards and project specifications. *Skills: * * Knowledge and experience in techniques and tools in residential development and construction * Concrete forming experience an asset * Framing experience an asset * Reading and understanding of blueprints an asset * Machine operation experience an asset * Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary. * Willingness to work in a team environment. * Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors. * Occasional travel throughout the Maritimes * Ability to work weekends and evenings when required * Dependability and punctuality to ensure tasks are completed on time and projects stay on schedule. * Basic problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges on the job site. * Open to learning new skills and techniques related to construction and development. *Qualifications:* * 2 - 3 years of general construction experience * Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle * Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 50 per week Benefits: * Automobile allowance * Casual dress * Company events Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * On call * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Saint John, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Residential construction: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationSaint John, NB
