Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Commercial and/or industrial construction. Tasks: Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors. Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements. Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Prepare reports. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Supervision: 5-10 people. Working groups. Contractors. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Security and safety: Reference required. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Judgement. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
