*About the Job:*
We are seeking an experienced pest control professional to assume a leadership role in our field team and help us scale up our rodenticide-free rodent/pest management programs.
Humane Solutions has been offering rodenticide-free services since our inception in 2016, and after the recent BC ban on rodenticides there has been a significant uptick in market demand.
Essentially, we are going to move all our existing clients/programs onto our new smart system with self reporting dashboards.
You will be in an excellent position to streamline and build out our program.
Once operational and you are comfortable in your role, we will be focusing primarily on the expansion of this service. You will be intimately involved in the hiring, training, supervision and management of new hires and the portfolio of clients.
*Training & Support:*
Our technicians need to think practically, act ethically and show up ready to work effectively ? bring your skills, and our team of internationally educated wildlife scientists and seasoned managers will fill in any gaps.
Within a few weeks, regardless of your background, you will be flying through the basic tasks.
*Requirements:*
* valid structural pesticide applicators licence
* valid drivers license with clean record
* one year experience

*Primary Tasks:*
* oversee the portfolio of rodenticide-free pest control programs
* supervise, train, and manage technicians assigned to these programs
* report to and work with management to constantly improve the delivery and quality of our services
*Additional Tasks:*
* Professional pesticide applications
* Rodent and wildlife control "Pest proofing" repair work on homes and buildings Insect control
* Provide estimates for custom jobs
* Install bird prevention devices
* Perform pest related clean-ups Regular use of a variety of hand (including power) tools
* Regular work performed on ladders, roofs and in confined spaces Regularly solicit business from new potential clients
* Maintain communication with the office throughout the day Provide excellent customer service
*Wage:*
$25-35/hour, depending on experience and following any necessary training/probation period.
