Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Hospital or home for the aged. Nursing home/home for the aged. Group home. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Maintain inventory of supplies. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Transport patients between care facilities. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Vulnerable sector check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
