Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Maintenance. Repair. Machine set-up. Tasks: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. Operate machining tools to fabricate parts. Installing machinery and equipment. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Equipment and machinery experience: Lathes and other machining tools. Power tools. Tool grinders. Hand tools. Security and safety: Criminal record check.
