Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Schedule materials, tools and personnel. Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment. Installs valves, alarms and associated equipment. Test system for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment. Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system. Install supports, valves, piping and control systems. Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size. Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system. Select type and size of pipe required. Test system for leaks using testing equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Steamfitter and Pipefitter Trade Certification. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.- LocationEdmonton, AB
