MDC is looking for a skilled and certified full or part time Ultrasound Technologist(s) who will be responsible to perform all types of general ultrasounds: MSK, ABD, OB/GYN, NT, Breast, Thyroid, Small Parts, vascular studies * NT certification preferred * Vascular preferred * Must be a registered member in good standing of CMRITO * Must be registered with ARDMS and/or Sonography Canada * Liability insurance is required * Current CPR certificate is an asset Responsibilities: * ensure all quality control assessments are performed as required. * greet patient, ensure patient identification, explain test, prepare and position patient for examination, obtain patient medical history * responsible for care and safety of patients within the department * maintain patient confidentiality * prepare adequate written and/or electronic reports to document all procedures and test results Personal: * have a cheerful, positive attitude. Ability to work with others as well as independently. Treat everyone with respect, dignity and kindness. * ability to speak another language an asset Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $36.00-$38.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 ? 24 per week Benefits: * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Ultrasound: 2 years (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationMarkham, ON
