Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Prepare flooring plans and scheduling. Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors. Prepare tenders and quotations. Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Estimate costs and materials. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Install outdoor carpets. Install materials on counter tops and raised platforms. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Client focus. Organized. Team player.
