Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Secure special attachments to equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Perform routine maintenance work. Load, unload and transport construction materials. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader. Area of work experience: Demolition. Excavation. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?.
