We are seeking a dynamic *Advanced & Manufacturing Engineering Manager* to join our team at our Newmarket facility. *Responsibilities:* * Manage cost estimates for equipment and labour driving effective quotations and cost estimations for customers * Conduct comprehensive cost reduction studies by evaluating and analyzing the design of specified parts to determine the most economical methods and procedures for manufacture and designing appropriate tools and equipment. * Plan, coordinate and implement new products or revised product introduction. * Oversee projects through all phases of the process, including machine specifications, tooling, jigs, costing, quoting, processes and scheduling. * Manage engineering documents such as machine specifications and process control details. * Consult with co-workers and provide technical assistance as requested in problem solving activities. * Manages quoting, project management, acquisition, installation and buy-offs of new equipment and processes * Lead organization towards continual productivity improvements focusing on eliminating waste and reducing process variation throughout the organization * Drive cost reductions, VA/VE, continuous improvement and R&D activities. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology required or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. P.Eng an asset. * Minimum 10 years of diversified and progressively responsible experience in a world class manufacturing environment required. * Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a professional environment required. * Experience in complete problem solving techniques related to design/technical issues * Lean or six sigma experience * Strong Project Management skills * Proven ability to lead, coach and develop technical teams We thank all applicants for submitting their resumes, however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
