Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Supervise other workers. Train workers in duties and policies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Prepare and submit reports. Establish work schedules and procedures. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments.
