Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Broiler and other meat-type chicken production. Chicken farming. Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Hay farming. Potato and vegetable. Harvest crops. Wet/damp. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Cut agricultural crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Oversee the activities of clearing the fields. Oversee the process of hoeing crops. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Feed and tend animals. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Supervisory Experience. Hand harvesting vegetables. Apply the technique of hoeing between the row. Supervision: 5-10 people.
