Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work site environment: Noisy. At heights. Confined spaces. Outdoors. All weather conditions. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Tasks: Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures. Repair and overhaul to ensure adherence to standards and procedures. Troubleshoot aircraft hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical systems. Troubleshoot aircraft structural systems. Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems. Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems. Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports. Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble. Perform and document routine maintenance. Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AME «M» Licence - Aircraft. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. Aircraft experience: Large turbine helicopters. Medium turbine helicopter. Small turbine helicopter. Type of industry experience: General aviation. Repair and overhaul facility. Specialization or experience: Aircraft repair. Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization: Aircraft maintenance - general. Turbine engines. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination.
