This role will provide key support in daily financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop their skills in accounting and finance. *Primary Responsibilities:* * Assist in maintaining the general ledger and journal entries. * Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy in transactions. * Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a monthly basis. * Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. * Help monitor expenses and assist with budget tracking. * Provide support in internal and external audits. * Assist in the preparation of various financial statements. * Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required. *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:* * Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships or co-op experience acceptable). * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. * Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Effective communication skills and ability to manage time efficiently. * Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passionate for continuous improvement * Interested in agriculture and working in a rural area on-site Del Fresco Produce welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
