Biscuits Petcare is looking for someone to join the team on a part-time basis to assist on weekends as well as some weekday walks. *Job Title:* Part-Time Dog Walker *Location:* Whistler, BC *About Us:* We are a dedicated dog walking service specializing in off-leash group hikes. Our focus is on providing a fear-free environment that promotes fun and socialization for dogs of all shapes and sizes. We take pride in our personalized approach to dog care and are looking for a passionate individual to join our team. *Job Description:* We are seeking a part-time dog walker to assist with our group dog walks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of the dogs during their outdoor adventures. This role involves transporting dogs to various hiking locations, managing group dynamics, and fostering a positive environment for all. *Key Responsibilities:* * Conduct group dog walks in a safe, engaging, and enjoyable manner. * Ensure the well-being and safety of all dogs during walks and transport. * Maintain a positive and fun atmosphere for both dogs and their owners. * Communicate effectively with dog owners regarding their pets' behavior and experiences. * Uphold our commitment to fear-free practices and positive reinforcement. *Requirements:* * Must have a valid driver?s license and a clean driving record (4x4 vehicle required for transporting dogs). * Passionate about working with dogs and understanding canine behavior. * Previous experience in dog handling or related fields is preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. *Why Join Us?* * Work in a beautiful outdoor setting with a fun-loving team. * Enjoy the companionship of dogs while contributing to their happiness and well-being. * Opportunities for training and development in canine care.
