This individual will play a central role in steering our franchise locations to achieve strategic objectives and financial benchmarks. *Key Responsibilities:* * Processing payroll runs * Reconciliation of bank accounts * CRM Review and Deal Posting * Overseeing onboarding and offboarding staff to the payroll system * Ensuring accurate accounting for payroll costs * Processing payments and managing bank transactions * Processing Workers' Compensation Board filing and remitances * Internal audits on financial and payroll items with compliance to provincial and/or federal laws * Filing year-end returns with the CRA * Providing key insights on potential grants, promotions or cost-saving opportunities at the dealership and organizational level * Other duties and tasks as assigned or required. *Qualifications:* * Proven accounting and/or payroll experience in the automotive industry, with a preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive sector. * Strong business acumen with a track record organization and accurate filing. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * A deep understanding of automotive sales, finance, and service operations. * Experience developing processes, policies or guidelines to maintain brand consistency * Prior experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders in an inclusive environment * The candidate must pass a criminal background check * Communicating with managers and staff to resolve payroll or financial issues * Other duties and tasks as required or assigned.
