Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Grain, oil and forage crop. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Diagnose livestock health issues. Direct farm feed inventory activities . Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Treat livestock health issues. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Formulate feeding program. Maintain livestock performance records. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Perform general farm duties. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Personal suitability: Team player.
