Our community is an attractive option for families who love the outdoors, the support a small community can bring, and being surrounded by a nature?s peaceful presence. <p>Learn more at: http://assumptionpr.ca/ <p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION <p>Assumption School is seeking a bus driver for the 2024-2025 school year (5 hours a day, Monday to Friday, September to June) . <p><p>The successful applicant requires:<p>- a valid driver?s license (class 1 or 2 with air brake endorsement) <p>- a driver?s abstract with no more than 3 demerit points<p>- a clear criminal record<p>- excellent driving skills and habits<p>- the ability to read maps and navigate<p>- excellent teamwork abilities<p>- exceptional communication skills <p>- a positive and caring approach to students and an ability to manage student behaviour <p>- ability to be organized, punctual and reliable<p>- a willingness to work split shifts and ability to provide service for activities during the school day<p>- the ability to drive in a variety of road and traffic conditions<p><p>Preference will be given to candidates who:<p>? have a current pastoral reference that they are active in a Catholic parish<p>? are committed to excellence in Catholic education<p>? have valid First Aid certification<p><p>Compensation:<p>Wage - $26.00-28.00 per hour depending upon experience<p>Benefits and pension package <p><p>References are required. <p><p>How to Apply: Submit a resume to Mrs. Lisa Berg, Principal, lberg@cisva.bc.ca <p><p>All candidates must complete CISVA employment requirements outlined here: https://cisva.bc.ca/employment/ <p><p>While all applications will be reviewed, only short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.
