*Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Licensing Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will be client facing, initially with the primary advisor, responsible for documenting client meeting minutes. The role will lead into solo meetings with clients where you will be responsible for taking on the advisor role with simple, straight forward client situations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial services, a good ability to build trust, comfortable giving advice, along with the ability to perform investment research tasks effectively. *Responsibilities* * Meet with clients, build rapport and conduct discovery conversations. * Conduct thorough research and document proper CRM & KYP requirements. * Make recommendations to help our clients' financial affairs be more efficent with regards to debt, taxation, investments, retirement, eductions etc. * Maintain proper licensing requirements such as CE credits. * Provide support to the primary advisor where needed. * Stay updated on changes in regulations that impact our industry. *Qualifications* * CIRO (formerly IIROC licensed) or willing to upgrade by writing the CSC exam. * Experiance meeting clients in an advice-giving environment. * Strong analyIcal and research skills with attention to detail. * Proficient in math and financial analysis, with experience in financial services being a plus. * Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with clients and team members. * Previous experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous but not required.
