Our team of collaborative and dedicated professionals are passionate, multi-skilled, and create a great team work environment. *Baribeau Construction?s core values: * * We do the right thing * We strive for excellence * We are client focused * We work as a team * We embrace the challenge * We put family first *The Ideal Candidate: * You love working with your hands and seeing the results of your efforts, but you?re looking to grow into more responsibility and leadership skill by leading a small field team in performing general carpentry jobs such as wood framing, steel stud framing, drywall boarding, siding, and demolition. You have experience in most or all of the tasks described above and some of your own basic tools. *Perks for you: * * Competitive salaried compensation (year-round employment) * Health Care Spending Account offered * Ongoing training and development opportunities *Key Responsibilities: * * Lead carpentry crew professionally, efficiently, and safely. * Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specs. * Ensure crew is clocking in and out using the time tracking app. * Complete daily journal entries. * Continually help improve company systems and efficiencies. * Other duties as assigned. *Key Characteristics: * * Carries themselves professionally. * Works efficiency and dependably, with attention to detail. * Strong team-player and able to lead a crew well. * Takes initiative, seeks increased responsibility, and is responsible for their own actions. * Must have basic tools and cordless hammerdrill and impact drill. *Additional requirements: * * 3+ years of construction experience. * Valid driver?s license, clean record, and reliable transportation to job sites. ? Strong verbal and written communication. * Endurance and ability to navigate job sites, including ladders and stairs. ? Can bend, squat, reach, and physically lift 50 lbs. *Compensation Package Including: * * Competitive salary plus performance-based bonus. * Health spending allowance. * Potential to drive a company vehicle. * On-going training opportunities.
