*Overview* We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a home care setting . Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you assist. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors and those requiring additional support. *Duties* As a Health Care Aide, your responsibilities will include: * Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. * Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding when necessary. * Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients. * Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in patient condition to nursing staff/management. * Assisting with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when required. * Supporting patients with dementia care by implementing appropriate communication techniques and activities. * Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all health and safety protocols. * Documenting patient care activities accurately in accordance with company policies. *Experience* Ideal candidates for the Health Care Aide position will possess: * Previous experience in caregiving or patient care settings, particularly in assisted living, home care or nursing home environments. * Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus. * Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. * Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks associated with patient mobility and transfers. * A compassionate demeanor combined with patience and understanding towards individuals requiring care. * Morning shift availability. * Preferably drives anywhere in the city.
