Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work site environment: Livestock combination farming. Sheep farming. Odours. Outdoors. Livestock. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Handling animals. Marking livestock as proof of ownership. Monitoring animal health. Maintain financial and production records. Negotiate with clients for provision of services. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
