I specialize in assisting accounting firms and work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. <br> <br>I'm looking for a Senior Assurance File Manager for an accounting firm located in downtown Montreal. <br> <br>Your responsibilities: <br>Reviewing Canadian corporate, personal, partnership and trust tax returns; <br>Ensuring all tax filings and tax data are reviewed thoroughly and consistently; <br>Working closely with partners and managers on different files, specifically those that have complex tax structures; <br>Identifying tax compliance issues and developing solutions to suit the needs of our clients; <br>Recognizing planning opportunities and suggesting recommendations to minimize tax exposure; <br>Overseeing and being responsible for the work of staff members; <br>Developing and maintaining relationships with clients; and <br>Providing advice and training to other staff members. <br> <br>What the firm can do for you: <br>Hybrid or remote work formula <br>Competitive salary <br>Full range of benefits <br>Career advancement opportunities <br>4 weeks paid vacation <br>8 paid personal days <br>Summer schedule (office closes at 1 pm on Fridays) <br>Reimbursement for parking or public transport</p><p>Your profile: <br>5+ years of relevant work experience in Canadian tax at a public accounting firm, specializing in tax compliance and due diligences <br>Enrolled or having completed the Master of Taxation program or CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Courses <br>Solid experience interpreting and applying tax legislation <br>Proficient with tax research methods and databases <br>Ability to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relations and focus on employee engagement <br>Work flexible hours and work within required budgets <br>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks <br>Experience with CaseWare and Taxprep is an asset <br>Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Word and Excel</p>- LocationMontréal, QC
