Laval, Lanaudière and the Laurentians.</p><p>-</p><p>I'm looking for a controller to replace my client in the Laval distribution sector for a period of 3 to 6 months on a part-time, 24-hour basis. <br> <br>Reporting to the CFO, your tasks will be : <br> <br>- Responsible for the complete accounting cycle, general ledger maintenance and chart of accounts. <br>- Responsible for accurate and timely closing of the financial month by reviewing journal entries, income statement and balance sheet. <br>- Account for specific month-end entries. <br>- Review income statement and perform variance analysis. <br>- Prepare monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy. <br>- Review bank reconciliations in CAD and USD. <br>- Review monthly GST and PST remittances. <br>- Maintain capital expenditures and amortization schedules. <br>- Prepare various analyses requested by the CFO and senior management. <br>- Prepare reports and surveys for Statistics Canada and other government agencies. <br>- Responsible for preparing files for year-end and bank audits.</p><p>Profile sought: <br> <br>- Operational immediately <br>- Initiative <br>- Versatile <br> <br>What's on offer : <br> <br>- Salary from 80K <br>- Telecommuting policy <br>- Flexible hours and days</p>- LocationLaval, QC
