We are looking for Local Registered ECE to join our team full time
*Overview*
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of young children. You will implement educational programs that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, while ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere for all students.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
* Create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
* Monitor and assess children's progress and development through observation and documentation.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
* Maintain an organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
* Provide leadership and support to classroom assistants or volunteers as needed.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
*Skills*
* Strong background in Early Childhood Education with relevant certifications or degrees.
* Experience working with children in a classroom setting is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
* Organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
* Time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day.
* Basic computer operation skills for administrative tasks and communication purposes.
* Leadership qualities to guide assistants or volunteers in the classroom.
* Knowledge of special education practices is desirable to support diverse learners.
