We are seeking a *REGISTERED* Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both technician and assistant duties. The ideal candidate will have the ambition to work to full scope as a pharmacy technician. We are looking for a reliable individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment. Experience in all aspects is preferred but not necessary. Training will be provided. Competitive wage based off level of experience. Technician responsibilities: * Technical check of prescriptions * Checking compliance packs * Taking verbal prescriptions over the phone * Giving injections * Preparing compounded medications * Maintaining records and reports Assistant responsibilities: * Providing customer service to patients * Answering phone calls * Processing prescriptions using Kroll dispensing software * Preparing and dispensing medications * Making compliance packs * Cashing out purchases using point-of-sale system, when needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 ? 39 per week Benefits: * Extended health care * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Clinton, ON N0M 1L0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Pharmacy Technician Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationClinton, ON
