Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Maintain general ledgers and financial statements. Post journal entries. Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports. Prepare tax returns. Prepare trial balance of books. Reconcile accounts. Prepare bank reconciliations. Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements. Computer and technology knowledge: Quick Books. TaxPrep. MS Office. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. What is the highest level of study you have completed?.
