As an equipment specialist, they will work closely with project managers, planning, and design departments.</span></span></span></p><p><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span><b><span>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></b></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- Participate in project transfer meetings with planners, designers, and project managers to identify equipment and service needs;</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- Provide recommendations for equipment selection for projects, considering current national agreements and the supplier incentive program;</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- Interpret technical drawings and specifications;</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>-Prepare budgets for assigned projects per scope of work based on the fixture plans using an excel template form</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- Determine equipment and service requirements based on the layout plan and other complementary documents;</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- Ensure that prices and conditions for equipment and services covered by national agreements are respected;</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- Prepare and send tender documents to suppliers for the relevant merchandise groups, analyze the results, negotiate, and make recommendations;</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- Request, analyze, negotiate, and recommend prices for equipment and services not covered by an agreement.</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- Issue purchase orders to suppliers through SAP and ensure follow-up throughout projects;</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- Update reference documents or work tools;</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- Perform any related tasks.</span></span></span></p><p><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span><b><span>QUALIFICATIONS:</span></b></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- College study (2 years) in procurement or related to procurement..</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>- The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
