\*Overview\* We are seeking a compassionate Health care aide to join our team and provide essential care to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for assisting others and ensuring their well-being. \*Responsibilities\* - Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary - Provide hospice care and support to patients and families - Perform heavy lifting tasks when required - Administer medications following prescribed guidelines - Offer senior care services with empathy and respect - Provide caregiving support to individuals with mobility issues- Collaborate with nurses to deliver comprehensive patient care - Maintain a clean and organized environment for optimal comfort \*Experience\* - Previous experience in patient care or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of caregiving practices and techniques - Familiarity with dementia care protocols is a plus - Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 ? 30 per week Benefits: * Flexible schedule Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * On call * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Athabasca, AB T9S 2B4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Application question(s): * Do you have any experience with Suprapubic Catheter? * do you have any experience with suppository insertion? * Do you have any experience working with individuals with mobility restrictions?
