*Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. *Responsibilities* * *Cost Estimating / Project Tendering / Scheduling / Site Management / Office Support* * Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications. * Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and schedules. * Utilize construction estimating tools to prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets. * Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution. * Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. * Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including updates on progress, challenges, and solutions. * Utilize project management software such as Smartsheets and Monday.com for project tracking and documentation. * Review blueprints and schematics for accuracy and feasibility. *Experience* * *Experience with commercial fit-ups, namely restaurants and franchises is a key asset* * *Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial construction management experience* * Proven experience in construction project management with a strong portfolio of completed projects. * Proficiency in construction estimating techniques and software (e.g., Bluebeam). * Familiarity with programs such as AutoCad, Revit, Solidworks, Procure, Buildertrend is an asset. * Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Experience in reading blueprints and understanding technical drawings. * Knowledge of industry best practices in construction management. * Knowledge of Ontario Building Code.
