*Overview* We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our retail environment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for retail management, and the ability to foster a positive team atmosphere. *Deluxe French Fries* *5 Wellesley Ave, Saint John, NB E2K 2V1* *Duties* * Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining store standards. * Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance. * Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment to ensure product availability. * Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while providing excellent customer service. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. * Support recruiting efforts by participating in the hiring process and onboarding new employees. * Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to encourage growth and improvement. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for both customers and employees. *Requirements* * Previous experience in retail management or as a retail clerk is preferred. * Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Proficient in basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. * Experience in training development to facilitate employee growth. * Knowledge of sales management techniques to drive store performance. * Ability to sell products effectively while understanding customer needs. * Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. * Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
