Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Supervise patients' exercise routines. Maintain inventory of supplies. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care. Provide personal care. Prepare meals. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Light cleaning duties. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
