*Overview* Sure-Fit Mechanical Ltd started in 2006. We are a full service mechanical company providing Plumbing, Hydronic Heating, Gas Fitting and HVAC for the Residential and Light Commercial Industry. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn the plumbing trade and gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist other plumbers in a variety of tasks, pick up and deliver materials and assist in the shop. All while gaining experiance and knowlege to further your career. *Responsibilities:* * Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. * Learn to read and interpret blueprints to understand plumbing layouts. * Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. * Help assemble and install plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings as directed. * Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. * Pick up and deliver material to job sites, assist in the shop * Collaborate with team members on job sites to complete projects on time. * Develop skills in HVAC systems related to plumbing installations. *Requirements:* * You have a minimum of 1 year of residential plumbing experience * You are mechanically minded * You can work well with others while taking direction from experienced teammates * You are familiar with power tools and hand tools used in the plumbing trade * Ability to plumb effectively under supervision while learning best practices. * You have a valid Alberta Drivers License * You own some basic hand tools related to the trade *What Sure-Fit Mechanical Will Provide:* * A diverse working experience to further your career * You will be treated like a teammate, not a number * We provide an Apprentiship for the right applicant * We reimbuse tuition after you sucessully complete each year of schooling * We provide, no cost to you, extended health after you complete probationary period. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * No weekends Ability to commute/relocate: * Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Residential Plumbing: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Alberta Driver's License (required) Work Location: In person- LocationCalgary, AB
