We specialize in rebuilding large hydraulic cylinders, repairing heavy industrial equipment, and building large steel fabrications. Our team currently has an opening for a welder with fabrication experience. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and independent with a good eye for detail and a can-do attitude. *Key Responsibilities:* * Weld large, deep, multiple pass welds without inclusions or faults, in a variety of alloy steels. * FCAW, MIG, SMAW, and TIG, in a variety of materials. * Interpret blueprints and perform work as specified. * Straighten material and components using both hydraulic presses and torches. * Basic fabrication as required. * Operate heating and cutting torches, both gas and plasma. * Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safe working procedures. * Other duties as necessary. *Qualifications:* * Red Seal certification required and CWB qualification is an asset. * 5+ years welding experience. * Able to read and interpret blueprints. * Fabrication experience and mechanical aptitude are assets. * Experience with straightening material and components. * Experience in the safe operation of common shop equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, saws, drill presses, grinders, torches, and hydraulic presses. *Skills & Abilities:* * Strong verbal and written communication skills, including basic computer skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. * Self-starter and problem solver. * Strong interpersonal skills, and able to work both individually and in a team environment. * Dependable and consistent in punctuality, attendance, quality, and productivity. *Working Conditions:* * General manufacturing shop specializing in cylinder rebuilds. * Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. * Out-of-town travel, field work, and/or overtime as required. * Able to lift up to 50 pounds. * Fast-paced environment requiring high attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. * Standing for extended periods of time. *What?s In It For You?* * Competitive wages depending on experience. * Live locally ? work in the Tri-Cities. * Benefits package after probationary period. * Excellent opportunity for full-time, long term employment with a highly respected industry leader.
