<p>Hello, I'm Julie Baptista, Team Leader at FED Manutech, specializing in permanent and temporary recruitment for the engineering, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. <br>We are experts and speak your language. <br>We are committed to working with you throughout your job search and every stage of your career.</p><p>I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company based in Laval, for the position of Maintenance Supervisor.</p><p>Your Role <br><br>Main Responsibilities: <br> <br>* Supervise a maintenance team <br>* Plan and organize the team's work according to production priorities and plant needs. <br>* Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment and production facilities. <br>* Analyze technical failures and intervene quickly to resolve issues and minimize downtime. <br>* Implement continuous improvement projects to increase equipment efficiency, safety, and performance. <br>* Oversee spare parts management and participate in purchasing decisions, collaborating with suppliers to ensure critical parts are always available. <br>* Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality regulations in the chemical industry. <br>* Train and mentor team members, ensuring their professional growth and safety within the team. <br>* Participate in budget planning and track maintenance-related costs. <br>* Collaborate with other departments, such as production and engineering, to ensure smooth operations and achievement of objectives.</p><p>Professional Skills: <br> <br>* Strong leadership and team management skills. <br>* Technical expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems. <br>* Problem-solving abilities <br>* Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities at once. <br>* Effective communication skills to manage and motivate a diverse team <br>* Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards <br> <br>Your Profile: <br> <br>* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in an industrial setting. <br>* Technical education: DEC or AEC in mechanical, electromechanical engineering, or industrial maintenance (or equivalent experience). <br>* Experience managing teams, preferably in continuous production environments. <br>* Advanced knowledge in mechanics, electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics. <br>* Experience in continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is an asset. <br>* Class C License, an asset. <br> <br>Working Conditions: <br> <br>* Location: Laval <br>* Permanent position, 40 hours/week <br>* Salary: 85k$ - 95k$ <br>* Comprehensive insurance paid 50% by the employer <br>* Paid vacation negotiable based on experience <br>* Retirement plan</p>
