Are you looking for a rewarding seasonal position in the ski industry? Do you have a strong accounting, payroll and background? If so, Snow Valley Ski Resort is looking for you! * We seek an experienced and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the financial records of the resort, processing payroll, preparing employment forms, and assisting with HR tasks. Collect daily cash drops from resort departments, balance and prepare daily deposits, and arrange cash deliveries to the bank. You will also work closely with the management and other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting. To be successful in this role, you must have: * At least one year of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and HR * Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software (Simply Accounting, Sage, QuickBooks) * Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable data entry * Monthly and quarterly reporting * Payroll and Benefits reconciliations * Reconciliations (bank, credit cards, customers, GL accounts, etc.) * Other accounting and resort administrative tasks as required * Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills * Ski industry knowledge is an asset This is a seasonal position with a competitive salary. *During the peak winter season, weekend and holiday shifts are required from December to March.* You will also enjoy a Snow Valley season pass and reciprocal privileges at other resorts. *Snow Valley's* *Mission* - To create memorable winter experiences for families of all ages and skill levels by delivering fun and safe winter adventures while fostering a community of learners and winter enthusiasts. *Vision* - To be the leading resort in Ontario for families to learn and enjoy winter activities.
