Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing. Conduct or assist in environmental monitoring and protection activities. Maintain laboratory equipment. Operate laboratory apparatus. Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses. Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards . Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results. Assist in design and fabrication of experimental apparatus. Prepare solution of gas or liquid, reagents, and sample formulations. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers .
