Our promise is to keep delivering the same award-winning service and value that our community has come to expect from our dealership through the years. *What We Offer* * Medical and Dental insurance. * Boot allowance * Up to $40/per hour for the right candidate * Paid holiday time off and vacation * Paid training * Discount for employee vehicle purchase *Technician Specific Benefits* * Discount for employee on parts and service * Highly productive shop WITH strong process in place * Ford Canada training expenses paid for time out of shop and online training * Continued education, manufacturer hands on and web-based training * Very competitive wages and high productivity *Responsibilities* * Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership * Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment * Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. * Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs * Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications *Qualifications* * Fully licensed motivated automotive technician ready to take their career to new heights * Strong automotive background * Strong teamwork skills * Prefer Ford or domestic experience but will train * Must have clean & valid driver's license Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $34.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Company pension * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * 8 hour shift Experience: * Mechanic experience: 3 years (preferred) * Maintenance: 5 years (preferred) * Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationHamilton, ON
