RA Electrical specializes in commercial and High voltage Electrical installations and services for Utilities, Utility Contractors and Renewable Energy Projects. We are looking for a 309A Electrician to join our team. This position requires 5+ years of experience in the low, medium and high voltage electrical industry. Availability for out of town, overtime, and weekend work is required. *Job Description:* * Extensive high voltage electrical field work including infrared scanning, substation maintenance, substation and transformer project installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, rationalization and implementation of system and equipment optimization measures, ownership of work from planning, implementation, and reporting to job closure. *Skills & Requirements* * Must be a self-starter, team player, and able to work with minimal supervision. * NETA Experience, testing HV substations * HV Substation maintenance experience * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Problem solver, action-oriented, and solutions-focused. * Physically fit, capable of lifting various types and weights of equipment. * Willingness to travel to job sites, with occasional extended stays. * Safety-conscious and adaptable to changing industry technologies. * Clean drivers abstract, with a minimum G class license required Additional items: * High Voltage experience ? Substation maintenance and construction, testing Cable terminations and splicing * Streetlight and Traffic Signal systems preferred * 0-8 Ton Crane/RBD ticket preferred * Arial Hydraulic Equipment experience *Qualifications:* * 309 Electrician - Construction and Maintenance * NETA Certification * Worker Health & Safety Awareness * WHMIS * First Aid & CPR * Working at Heights * Electrical Awareness Join our dynamic team where your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects while ensuring safety and quality in every job you undertake!
