<p>Are you looking for a rewarding job where you can apply your skills in occupational health and safety?</p><p></p><p>At Desgagnés Logistik, you will join a passionate and collaborative team working together to ensure the success of our OHS projects.</p><p></p><p>Be part of a dedicated team working across Quebec to ensure safe environments in all our projects.</p><p></p><p>Take on the challenge and become our next OHS Advisor!</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>More specifically, the OHS and environment advisor main responsibilities are to:</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Act as a change agent within the business unit</li><li>Ensure the update and compliance of operational documents related to our occupational health and safety management systems, as well as standards and regulations</li><li>Conduct regular inspections, recommend preventive or corrective measures and ensure follow-up</li><li>Actively participate in incident investigations, leading or supporting the teams involved</li><li>Communicate regularly with the corporate team to share potential improvements and OHS issues</li><li>Contribute to the annual review of OHS management systems and help identify priorities</li><li>Monitor operational activities on sites and vessels, identify hazards and analyze associated risks</li><li>Support and participate in various committees and working groups, as well as monitoring OHS training for workers and managers</li><li>Analyze OHS incident trends, ensure the implementation of preventive measures and ensure information transfer with the corporate team</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>In collaboration with our corporate health and safety team, you will help deploy prevention strategies, identify key indicators, and guide our operational teams on all our work sites.</p><p></p><p><strong>Working conditions</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Permanent, daytime position</li><li>Flexible schedule of 40 hours per week</li><li>Remote work policy (50 %)</li><li>Comprehensive group insurance program (including dental insurance)</li><li>Registered Retirement Savings Plan (with employer contribution)</li><li>Employee assistance program and telemedicine</li><li>Annual vacation</li><li>Floating holidays, sick days and federal holidays</li><li>Free coffee!</li></ul> <br> <ul><li>College diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management, or equivalent</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience as a OHS prevention generalist</li><li>Experience in a company under federal or provincial jurisdiction and in a unionized environment</li><li>Experience in the shipping industry, an asset</li><li>Excellent knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and regulations (CQHSER, Canada Labour Code, and other Canadian legislation)</li><li>Bilingual, French and English, spoken and written</li><li>Autonomous in the use of MS Office software</li><li>Rigorous and organized</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to balance administrative tasks with on-site presence</li><li>Ability to work as part of a team</li></ul>
