We are a growing, state of the art specialist pediatric dental practice. Our practice is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a supporiver environment. We are looking for an organized and proactive Dental Office Manager to lead our current amazing team and manage daily operations.
Job Summary
The Dental Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dental office, ensuring the highest standard of patient care, efficiency, and team coordination. This role is essential in fostering a positive patient experience and supporting the clinical team in a productive and compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
* *Operations Management*: Oversee daily office operations, ensuring smooth workflows, adequate scheduling, and patient satisfaction.
* *Team Leadership*: Supervise, mentor, and manage front desk staff, dental assistants, hygienists, and other administrative personnel.
* *Scheduling and Patient Flow*: Manage and optimize patient scheduling to maximize productivity while maintaining patient satisfaction and minimal wait times.
* *Financial Oversight*: Handle billing, invoicing, and collections processes; oversee insurance claims and verifications; monitor office budgets and expenses.
* *Patient Relations*: Ensure a positive experience for all patients by handling any concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.
* *Compliance and Documentation*: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and safety requirements, including proper documentation, record-keeping, and infection control standards.
* *Inventory Management*: Monitor supplies and equipment; coordinate orders to ensure adequate stock levels.
* *Technology and Digital Systems*: Manage the practice?s digital systems, including practice management software, electronic health records (EHR), and communication tools.
* *Human Resources*: Assist with hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff; oversee payroll, time management, and attendance.
* *Marketing and Patient Outreach*: Support patient retention and growth initiatives, including marketing campaigns, patient recalls, and community engagement.
Qualifications
* *Experience: 3+ years in dental office management or related field, preferably in a high-tech or specialized dental environment.*
* *Education*: Degree or certification in business administration, healthcare management, or dental office administration (preferred).
* *Knowledge*: Strong understanding of dental billing, insurance claims, and patient scheduling.
* *Skills*:
* *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.*
* *Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.*
* Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
* Basic understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and regulatory requirements.
