Wilson Corp is proud to be a leader in the community, delivering excellence across all industries we serve. *Position Overview:* We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our developments team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in carpentry, a strong understanding of building techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ensuring quality craftsmanship in each project. *Key Responsibilities:* * Construct and install structures, frameworks, fixtures, and finishes according to blueprints and project specifications. * Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials, ensuring precision and quality. * Interpret blueprints, technical documents, and instructions to plan carpentry tasks. * Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. * Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members on-site to complete projects. * Conduct routine inspections and repairs as needed. * Prepare job sites, organize materials, and ensure that all work areas are clean and safe. *Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or vocational training in carpentry is preferred. * 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in construction or a related field. * Proficiency in using hand and power tools for carpentry. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. * Strong math and measurement skills. * High attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and stand for extended periods. * Carpentry license is an asset, but not required. * Valid Ontario driver?s license and reliable transportation to job sites. *What We Offer:* * Competitive hourly wage. * Opportunities for growth and professional development. * Comprehensive benefits package. * A supportive, team-oriented work environment where your skills and contributions are valued.
